When the Skies Run Red

... Or, perhaps I simply selected for the saturated exposures myself, but the latter sounds far less ominous. It was taken fairly late, so the original had the hallmark desaturation so common at low-light distance shots. Since any attempts to reconstruct the original color present in the scene without washing out the whole ended in disaster, disaster, I thought I'd try to "play along", with the not-all-so-bad results below:
